On 22 August, the expert jury met to deliberate on the Digital Logistics Award 2023 call for entries. Out of a total of 54 applicants from 18 different countries, eight promising start-ups made it to the final. What makes this special is the fact that the three winners will be determined by an expert audience consisting of over 500 participants from the logistics industry. Each of these finalists will be given the opportunity to present a three-minute pitch at the Zukunftskongress Logistik, thus introducing both themselves and their innovative idea.

These eight start-ups made it to the final this year:

Arinto Maritime GmbH

Due to AI-supported, highly precise ETA predictions for multiple ships, Arinto Maritime GmbH enables intelligent optimisation of arrival times. This not only leads to significant cost and emission savings, but also enables more efficient supply chain management.

bobbie for 1Lieferschein consortium

The bobbie for 1Lieferschein consortium initiative presents the innovative concept of the digital delivery note format „1Lieferschein“. This groundbreaking solution facilitates seamless collaboration between all actors in the logistics chain. The vision of this initiative goes beyond its own transactions: it aims to establish the digital delivery note as the standard both within and outside the construction industry.

CO2OPT

Using an AI-based tool, CO2OPT provides an intelligent method of tyre optimisation for vehicle fleets. By matching vehicle profiles with the optimal tyre options, the system enables an effective reduction of emissions and costs in fleet management.

Heylog GmbH

Heylog revolutionises communication and collaboration along the supply chain through innovative digital solutions. Heylog’s platform facilitates ongoing coordination and interaction between stakeholders, bringing clarity and efficiency to the complex world of logistics.

Konsent GmbH

With the CamKon system solution, Konsent GmbH enables automated position detection of goods and means of production. The permanently installed IoT cameras detect goods and production equipment using visual markers. The determined position data is available in seconds via a cloud service on an internal homepage or your ERP system.

MANSIO GmbH

MANSIO presents an innovative software-based transport system for road haulage. The system is based on the concept of encounter transport: During a transport, one truck hands over its semi-trailer to another truck. This enables highly efficient use of resources and helps optimise supply chains.

NxtLog

NxtLog focuses on advanced, data-driven logistics solutions with a clear sustainability approach. Using state-of-the-art technology, NxtLog generates customised reports based on a company’s logistics data. These insights range from location and transport analyses to temporal parameters and are precisely tailored to individual needs.

Swoove Inc

Through its innovative B2B order marketplace Dispatch360, Swoove Inc enables significant cost savings of up to 40% through load and route optimisation. With an open API and seamless plugin integrations into customer e-commerce platforms, Swoove Inc offers a holistic solution to increase efficiency in logistics.

The final of the Digital Logistics Awards will take place on site at the Congress Centre in Dortmund on 12 September 2023. The last time the Zukunftskongress Logistik was held entirely digitally, so you can look forward to meeting the start-ups on site again. From 3.30pm, the eight finalists will pitch and then the audience and expert jury will vote on the winners, who will then be announced at the Award Ceremony during the evening event on the same day.

The sponsors of this year’s award include duisport packing logistics GmbH in cooperation with Startport GmbH, the Open Logistics Foundation and the Digital Hub Logistics e.V..
